Kapuso actress Kylie Padilla put rumors to rest as she confirmed that she is currently in a relationship with her non-showbiz boyfriend.
On Tuesday, she finally revealed her new relationship status during her interview with veteran host Boy Abunda on the GMA talk show “Fast Talk With Boy Abunda”.
“The best thing I love about it is may balance na ako ngayon from my work life to my personal life. In my work life, artista ako. It’s a different world, very different world,” she described their relationship.
“And when I’m with my partner, I’m normal again, I’m just Kylie. I’m the Kylie that grew up in Australia, I’m the Kylie na nanay lang ako, and, you know, I do normal nanay things,” Kylie reflected on having a new partner and being a single mom.
“There’s no trying to keep up a certain image with a partner,” she added.
Kylie also shared the difficulties she faced in the new relationship she has now.
“Ba’t lahat nalang? Ba’t pinapahirapan ako?” Padilla said with laugh. “I think of everything in life, may ituturo siya sa ‘yo.
“There’s a way for you to grow in everything na nangyayari sa ‘yo and you just keep going until you die, right?”, she continued, “So meron din akong lesson dito sa relationship ko ngayon, and it taught me to just trust myself more talaga and not be too scared to be myself.”
Kylie reflected on the things she learned in her new relationship, saying, “Na-reveal sa ‘kin ‘yung mga ugali ko and ‘yung mga ayokong tanggapin kasi, you know, everyone has ego.”
“And in some way, mas hinarap ko siya ngayon this time ‘yung mga imperfections ko kasi nagko-connect siya sa pagiging nanay ko, me as a person. And this relationship really—tinuruan ako din,” the celebrity mom said.
Kylie was previously hounded with speculations after being spotted with a man at a shopping mall, rumored to be her new boyfriend.
Following the viral videos of them, Padilla later described the person as the one who brings “joy to her heart”.
Kylie was previously married to her estranged ex-husband, Aljur Albrenica, and parted ways in 2021. Following their split, the actor later admitted that he cheated on Kylie.
The ex-couple share two sons, Alas and Axl, whom they co-parent together.
Aljur is now in a relationship with sexy actress, AJ Raval.
