Karla Estrada shuts down speculations about house allegedly going for sale: ”Wag n’yo kami ‘pag aksayahan ng panahon’

Actress-host Karla Estrada addressed speculations about the selling of her family home, confirming that it is not for sale “anymore”.

Rumors about Karla and her son, Daniel Padilla, spread last January after talent manager Ogie Diaz’s Showbiz Update discussed allegations about the actor’s house being put up for sale on a real estate page on Instagram.

According to the now-deleted IG post, the “Elegant Owner’s Built House” located near Commonwealth, QC comes at a price of P50 million. The house is situated on a 500-square meter lot, has six bedrooms, and a spacious garage that can fit five to six vehicles.

The Face 2 Face host, however, set the record straight in her latest Facebook post, clarifying that the property in question had been for sale “since three years ago”, and calling out those spreading misinformation about it.

Karla questioned the connection of her family to the alleged selling of their house as she clarified that the property states her name under its owner.

“Medyo malayo ata sa katotohana ‘yun [k]asi masisipag kami sa buhay,” she defended herself and her family.

Karla also called out a local magazine that posted the information that further ignited rumors to spread about the property.

Ending her lengthy post, Karla made clarifications about the house to stop any more rumors from spreading.

Following the news, Karla discussed the selling of their family home in a past YouTube interview with newscaster Bernadette Sembrano last May.

In the interview, Karla confirmed that they have indeed been attempting to sell the house for over two years.

“Yes, this is for sale. Two years nang for sale ito,” she told Bernadette, as quoted by PEP in its report.

Karla mentioned they are not selling the home aggressively, as they are considering offers only if someone shows “genuine interest” in the property, PEP reported.

“Pero hindi lang namin push na push. Pagka may gusto lang. ‘Tsaka namimili ako, e. Kung sinong puwedeng,” the celebrity host asserted.

Pero masyado nang malaki para sa akin mag-isa,” Karla described the mansion, sharing her plans to relocate to the south of Metro Manila, as her children—Daniel, Carlito, Magui, and Carmella—now have their own places.

Additionally, Karla wants to have the convenience of the airport being just a short drive away as well as to where her close friends reside.

“Gusto ko mag-south ngayon. Kasi nandoon lahat din mga friends ko. And then para sa akin, pag nag-start ako ng kung ano man ang umpisa natin sa Region 8, malapit na yung south. Malapit na sa airport,” she explained further on the reason behind selling their home.
