‘RaStro is back!’: Rhian Ramos and Glaiza de Castro to reunite in first movie together

Kapuso actresses Rhian Ramos and Glaiza de Castro are set to join forces once again for their first-ever film together.

The exciting news was announced on the official social media pages of Wide International Film Production, Glaiza’s production company.

Wide International also announced that their upcoming film will be director by Sigrid Andrea Bernardo, best known for “Kita Kita,” “Walang KaParis,” and “Under Parallel Skies”.

The news came following their appearance at the fan meeting of popular Thai GL (girl’s love) stars, Freen Sarocha and Becky Armstrong, fondly known as “FreenBecky”, for their Thai GL show, “Gap: The Series”,

During the event, both actresses were asked if they were willing to star in a movie together, to which they responded with a resounding “Yes,” much to the delight of their fans.

Ramos and de Castro earned praise for their performances in the 2015 Kapuso series, “The Rich Man’s Daughter,” billed as one of the first-ever GL shows in Southeast Asia, where they gained a strong fanbase who dubbed their tandem as the “RaStro” love team.

They are also set to work together in the upcoming GMA-7 fantaserye “Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre” where Glaiza will reprise her role as Sang’gre Pirena while Rhian will portray the new character, Mitena.
