Loisa Andalio explains controversial remark on solo travelers

“Hindi ko nilalahat, sa akin lang ‘yun.”

Actress Loisa Andalio clarified her previous statement about solo traveling which elicited several criticisms on social media.

This came after her exclusive interview with PEP, accompanied by her boyfriend Ronnie Alonte, where she shared her perspective on solo traveling, explaining why it doesn’t appeal to her as much as it might to others.

In the interview, Loisa expressed her sympathy for those who travel alone, describing their experience as “sad” for not having someone to share scenic views with.

Following her remark, the actress earned several criticisms online, which prompted an apology and clarification in her recent interview with ABS-CBN News.

“Medyo bitin talaga yung interview na yun,” she told ABS-CBN.

Loisa further explained that her opinion leaned more on herself, saying, “Ang opinyon ko dun parang for me, kung ako mag-so-solo travel grabe siguro ‘yung pinagdadaanan ko para umabot ako sa mag-solo na lang.”

She added, mentioning her boyfriend, Ronnie, “Kasi ako ‘yung personality ko, gusto ko kasama [ko] si Ronnie or ‘yung friends or ‘yung family.”

Andalio also expressed her apologies to those who misinterpreted her statement, emphasizing that while she has her own opinion, she also respects others’ point-of-view.

“Hindi ko nilalahat, sa akin lang ‘yun,” clarified Loisa.

She added, “Kung na misinterpret ng iba, sorry, opinion ko ‘yun. May opinion din sila nirerespeto ko din.”
