Boobay gives health update after passing out on stage

Comedian-host Boobay gave a health update after he recently passed out while performing on stage at an event in Aparri.

The said incident was caught on camera in a livestream on Vice Mayor Rene Chan’s Facebook page and circulated online, making netizens concerned and worried over the artist.

As seen in the clips, Boobay was performing together with fellow comedian Pepita Curtis when he suddenly lost balance and fell on stage.

Boobay was able to recover after a short while and continued his performance along with Pepita.

“Naano lang po siya, na-out of balance,” explained Pepita after the quick break.

A day after the incident, Boobay, through the Boobay and Tekla Show, assured fans that he is in good condition and thanked those who expressed concern following the incident.

“Don’t worry dahil here I am, Boobay, buhay na buhay and ready to fight.

This isn’t the first time Boobay worried fans with a health scare. In April 2023, the comedian-host suddenly became “unresponsive,” while having an interview on live TV with host Boy Abunda.

After a quick break, Boobay admitted that the day before his guesting, he suffered the same incident while shooting for The Boobay and Tekla show due to lack of sleep and the harsh light.

Boobay also said that he was advised by his doctor that he would occasionally have the same experience following his stroke in 2016.

“After daw nun, maaaring mag-hang ako. The best thing that you have to do is…mag-stop ka lang until hayaan mong bumalik sa dati,” he shared.
