Actor Elijah Canlas opened up about the current status of his relationship with ex-girlfriend Miles Ocampo amid rumors of them getting back together.
This revelation came after the Senior High actor was spotted during the surprise birthday celebration of his former beau, who turned 27 last Wednesday, May 1.
In a recent exclusive interview with ABS-CBN News, Elijah shared that he, along with their mutual friends, planned the surprise for the actress.
“All our friends were there. Kami ang nag-organize sa salubong party niya. In-enjoy lang namin. Well, right now we’re just enjoying what we have. We’re taking things easy lang para walang pressure,” he shared.
In the same interview, Elijah also stated that he maintains a “strong friendship” with Miles months after he announced their split in November 2023, ending over two years of being in a relationship.
“We’re doing good. We’re very happy. Of course, of course. We’re taking it easy,” Elijah told ABS-CBN.
“We’re just taking our time. Doon lang kami sa focusing on our work. S’yempre, marami rin siyang work, marami rin akong work. Of course, the love and care for each other will always be there,” Canlas reflected on their current relationship.
Elijah emphasized the importance of focusing on their respective careers while nurturing their connection, saying, “We’re just taking our time. Doon lang kami sa focusing on our work.”
