‘So extra!’: Ian Veneracion amuses netizens with viral fan service during beauty pageant

Ian Veneracion strikes again!

A video of the actor flipping over an audience member during his performance at a local beauty pageant goes viral.

The viral video shared by an online user on X captured the moment when Ian approached the audience below the stage in the middle of his song number and pulled a woman from the crowd onto the stage.

In a surprising turn of events, Veneracion asked the unsuspecting woman to raise her hands and proceeded to carry her from the waist and flipped her.

Despite the sudden gesture, the woman still appeared thrilled by the unexpected interaction with the actor.

The video quickly garnered mixed reactions from netizens, with some expressing amusement and admiration for Veneracion’s spontaneous act.

“Kung may i-Dawn Zulueta mo ako, parang mas gusto kong i-Ian Veneracion na lang ako,” a netizen reacted, referring to an expression coined by comedian Vice Ganda about how actor Richard Gomez lifted his on-screen partner Dawn Zulueta in their hit movie, “Hihintayin Kita sa Langit”.

“Napaka-random, kala siguro ni girl i-Dawn zulueta siya naging circus ba naman 🤣🤣🤣,” commented another.

“HAHAHAHA nakakasawa kasi yung pakanta-kanta lang sa guesting, try din cirque du soleil,” another user wrote.

“Ian Veneracion has a very interesting way of fan service,” said another X user.

Meanwhile, some users expressed their familiarity with Ian’s “habit” of lifting others, as he also went viral for surprising former co-star Jodi Sta. Maria by suddenly carrying her while being interviewed by the press.

Comments flooded social media platforms, with users jokingly remarking about his past controversy with an alleged overpriced talent fee which he had already denied.

“Haha kaya pala mahal ung bayad kay Ian binabaliktad ‘yung audience,” a user wrote.

“Sulit naman po pala yung tf, may audience participation + acrobatics pa,” a netizen quipped.
