Bea Alonzo sues Cristy Fermin, Ogie Diaz for cyber libel

Bea Alonzo has filed three separate cyber libel cases against veteran entertainment columnist Cristy Fermin and talent manager-host Ogie Diaz.

According to a report by GMA 7’s Nelson Canlas, the actress has taken legal actions against Cristy and Ogie, who both have their own showbiz-oriented shows online, at the Quezon City Prosecutors Office.

Bea filed the complaints in the company of her legal counsel Atty. Joey Garcia and manager Shirley Kuan on Thursday.

Ogie and Cristy, together with their co-hosts, and an online “basher” who is pretending to be close with Bea, are facing criminal charges after the said individual disclosed baseless information about the actress on their respective shows.

As stated in her complaint affidavit, Bea said she was a victim of false, malicious, and damaging information as well as Cristy and Ogie’s recurring slanders against the actress on their respective columns and shows.

This also includes the allegations that she is not paying the right taxes.

Bea, alongside her ex-fiancee Dominic Roque, became the talk of the town in the past months following the announcement of their separation in February.
