Mavy Legaspi sees no problem with ex-girlfriend Kyline Alcantara being linked to Darren Espanto.
The Kapuso star shared his reaction after the two received teasing from It’s Showtime hosts. This happened following Kyline’s recent guesting at the noontime show, during which both she and Darren appeared to share inside jokes.
“I have no problem kasi Darren and I are very close friends,” Mavy related in an interview with 24 Oras.
He added, “Again, what you see on TV is what you get. Pero behind closed doors, nagme-message message kami ni Darren so we’re very good.”
The 23-year-old also revealed his relationship status, stating he’s currently more focused on his career than his lovelife.
“Siguro sa ngayon, mai-in love muna ako sa sarili ko at sa sarili kong craft sa pag-arte. I can’t let this slip away kasi ‘yung binigay sa akin na napakagandang project, if ma-miss ko ‘tong project na ‘to, sayang ‘to,” the actor said.
Darren and Kyline used to join Mavy, his twin Cassy, and their parents Carmina Villarroel and Zoren Legaspi in their bonding time and family dates.
Darren has been romantically linked to Cassy, but the former recently clarified their real score, saying they are just the best of friends.
