It’s Showtime mainstay Vice Ganda gave a candid response to a netizen asking about his boundaries and limitations in his friendship with co-host Anne Curtis.
The exchange arose from the TV host’s post on his X page where Vice reposted a video of his playful banter with Anne seemingly taken backstage of the noontime program.
In the shared video, the duo were seen engaging in a playful interaction, which was accompanied by Vice’s caption reflecting their shared moments both on and off-camera.
“Ewan ko ba kung bakit ganyan ang trip namin lagi! Kahit off cam masayang masaya kaming nagbubwisitan! Ang labo ng love language namin hahaha!”, the comedian wrote.
However, amidst the lighthearted sentiment, a “concerned” netizen raised a point regarding respecting boundaries, particularly in light of a past incident involving Anne.
“Ok lang yung mag bwisitan at asaran pero wag mong pisikalin si Anne Meme, respect mo pa rin pagiging babae nya,” the X user commented on Vice’s X post.
The netizen referenced an incident where Vice allegedly pulled a prank on Anne during their show’s segment, “Tawag ng Tanghalan,” which supposedly led to Anne feeling uncomfortable.
“I have watched one time sa Tawag ng Tanghalan biniro ka ni Jhong may nilagay sa buhok mo tapos bigla mong sinabunutan si Anne napagbintangan mo sya. Respect mo parin sya,” the netizen added.
Vice swiftly addressed the concern, assuring the viewer that they need not worry about their interactions, explaining that as individuals in a close relationship, they are in the best position to determine the dynamics of their interactions.
“Wag nyo po kaming alalahanin. Kami po ang may relasyon kaya kami po ang magdedecide kung paano kami maghaharutan. Iba iba po ang dynamics ng mga magkakaibigan”, Vice wrote, Vice replied to the comment, reiterating about their “unique love language”.
