BF receives a ‘yes’ from long-time GF after pulling off a horror-like marriage proposal

“Nagtatawanan daw ‘yung mga tikbalang, ‘yung mga nuno daw dun kinikilig.”

A recently engaged couple received the most hilarious comments from netizens after a horror-like marriage proposal last December 21, 2023.

Long-time couple Sheila Mae Asugao and Mon Joshua Pagsisihan were out for a vacation in Bulacan to celebrate their 11th anniversary.

At that time, Mon was ready to propose to Shiela anytime, but didn’t have any concrete plan regarding the place and time.

When they were on their way to the cabin resort, they passed by a dark and bumpy road. Mon felt that it was the perfect time to ask the hand of Shiela for marriage.

Mon then pulled off his best acting skills and pretended that their car was broken.

Since nakaluhod naman na ako nun habang nakasilip sa may sasakyan, rekta  ‘Will you marry me?’ Casual lang,” he said.

For her part, Shiela recalled how scared she was at that moment.

But when she saw Mon kneeling down with a ring, “Sobrang gulat ko.

Mon and Sheila were high school sweethearts. They have been together for more than a decade.

Sheila has a message for individuals who are still looking for the perfect partner and shared an important key to a long-lasting relationship.

Maging honest ka lang din lagi,” she said.

As of this writing, the uploaded video on social media has already garnered more than 1.6 million views.

“‘Yung dalawa lang kayo pero may mga pumalakpak,” a netizen said in jest.

Pinakilig niyo ko eh,” another said.
