Fans and netizens alike found themselves swept up in nostalgia and delight as they witnessed the reunion of former real and reel couple Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto, a.k.a popular loveteam JoshLia.
The two were among the attendees at the tribute party for star maker Johnny Manahan, fondly known as Mr. M, who served as the head of Star Magic, ABS-CBN’s talent arm for several years.
Other celebrities graced the star-studded occasion, including Kathryn Bernardo, Donny Pangilinan, Dimples Romana, Luis Manzano, John Lloyd Cruz, Heart Evangelista, Kristine Hermosa, Sam Milby, and Claudine Barretto, as seen in actress-media executive Charo Santos-Concio’s Instagram post.
According to a Pilipino Star Ngayon’s report, Charo appeared to be thrilled as Joshua approached her and Julia to greet them.
Witnesses noted Julia’s evident happiness at seeing her ex-boyfriend again, as they warmly embraced each other, as seen in the viral videos capturing the moment.

“My favorite loveteam,” Ms. Charo was heard saying to the two Kapamilya stars, as the trio posed for a photo op.
JoshLia fans also poured out their glee upon seeing their favorite tandem together again.
“Huhu JoshLia heart is finally healing. Now that’s what we call maturing and growing!! World is finally healing ?,” a fan wrote.

In addition to Joshua and Julia’s reunion, the event also saw notable interactions between Julia and Bea Alonzo, who was spotted sharing a friendly conversation.
Julia and Joshua publicly announced their two-year relationship back in 2019. However, just a few months after their admission, the couple decided to part ways.
Currently, Julia is in a relationship with Bea’s ex-boyfriend, Gerald Anderson. Meanwhile, Joshua is now being linked to Filipino-French golfer Emilienne Vigier.
