Dispatch reveals Han So Hee and Ryu Jun Yeol’s ‘awkward date’ in Hawaii

A recent report by Korean media outlet Dispatch, notorious for its Korean celebrity relationship reveals, shed light on the first public date of new couple Ryu Jun Yeol and Han So Hee in Hawaii.

This came right after the couple officially confirmed their romantic involvement and four months after Ryu Jun Yeol announced his split with former beau, Hyeri. They were initially entangled in cheating allegations.

Contrary to expectations, Dispatch described the atmosphere between the new couple during the date to be rather “tense”.

According to Dispatch’s account, So Hee appeared “more engrossed in her phone” than in the dining experience, while Jun Yeol quietly ate his meal.

The body language between the two suggested a lack of ease, with So Hee walking with her gaze fixed on the ground and Jun Yeol following closely behind, his eyes lingering on her figure, as seen and explained in Dispatch’s photos of the two.

The Korean media outlet also shared the timeline of the couple’s relationship which was said to have begun on November 15, 2023.

Coincidentally, while their budding relationship was being confirmed in Hawaii, Dispatch was investigating the trouble in Jun Yeol and Hyeri’s paradise back in Korea.

Sources close to the former couple revealed a growing distance between them since June 2023, which explained Jun Yeol’s absence from his ex-girlfriend’s birthday celebration.

Despite their seven-year-long relationship, Jun Yeol and Hyeri ultimately decided to part ways in early November 2023. It was in the same month that Jun Yeol met Han So Hee for the first time at her photo solo exhibition on November 15th, Dispatch reported.

This swift transition from one relationship to another has raised eyebrows, particularly concerning the timing of Jun Yeol and So Hee’s public outing in Hawaii which Dispatch revealed took place four months after the actor’s split.

The revelation of Jun Yeol’s new romance seemed to have evoked feelings of betrayal, which might have led to Hyeri unfollowing him on the platform and posting a cryptic Instagram story that seemed to be a swipe at his new relationship.

Dispatch described Jun Yeol’s return to Korea on November 17, 2023 to have been taken with “heavy steps”, hinting at the turbulent journey ahead for him and his new beau.
