K Brosas is grieving the loss of her adoptive mother.
The comedienne-actress took to Instagram on Friday to share a black and white photo with the text “Rest in peace”.
In the caption, K expressed her love and gratitude to her late mom, saying, “Mama … maraming maraming salamat sa lahat.. I love you.. rest in heaven’s glory.”
K also relived their memories by sharing via Instagram stories old photos of them together in Italy in 2016 and 2019.
Back in an interview with broadcast journalist Karen Davila last October 2023, K revealed she was not on speaking terms with her mom after a misunderstanding. The comedienne, at the time said they last talk at the height of the pandemic.
“Yung mama ko, yung nagpalaki sa akin, sa kanya ako concerned kasi sa kanya malaki yung utang na loob ko.
“Siya nagpaaral sa akin, siya nagpakain sa akin, siya lahat,” said K in the interview.
Colleagues and fans, have since offered their words of condolences for K.
