Veteran actress Sylvia Sanchez is the happiest for her daughter Ria Atayde’s engagement to boyfriend Zanjoe Marudo.
The celebrity mom took to Instagram to express excitement over her eldest daughter’s upcoming wedding with the actor.
“Happy ako sobra para sayo Potpot Sophia Atayde…Deserve mo yan dahil napakabuti mong anak,” Sylvia wrote as caption in a video of Ria.
Sylvia also shared screenshots of her and husband Art Atayde’s video call with the soon to be married couple when they apparently broke the engagement news.
“My heart is [overflowing] with joy,” captioned Sylvia.
“Perfectly Matched [ ring emojis],” she added.
Amid the engagement news, speculations that Ria is expecting a baby arose.
In Abante Tonite’s “Marisol Academy”, host Rommel Placente said he reached out to Sylvia for a confirmation, but did not receive a response from the latter.
“May mga lumalabas na balita na diumano ay buntis si Ria. Kukunin ko lang ang reaksyon mo para sa show naming Marisol Academy, pero ang nangyari sineen lang niya,” Placente was quoted as saying.
A recent interview of Sylvia with Pang-Masa’s Salve Asis, meanwhile, showed the actress’ showing excitement over having a grandchild.
“Sobra na akong handang-handa na, sobra. Pero ang tanong, kelan ba? Ayoko silang pressure-in. Bahala na sila. Basta ako naka-ready na ako,” said Sylvia who’s also the mom of elest Arjo Atayde who’s married to Maine Mendoza.
