Dominic Roque condemns Cristy Fermin’s ‘malicious’ allegations amid his split with Bea Alonzo

Dominic Roque’s camp has released an official statement calling out the previous allegations made by entertainment columnist, Cristy Fermin, over his split with ex-partner Bea Alonzo.

In a report by GMA News, the statement was made by his lawyers from Fernandez and Singson Law Offices, addressing the “malicious defamatory innuendos” made by the veteran columnist in her vlogs.

“We strongly condemn the malicious and defamatory public statements of Ms. Fermin. These defamatory statements were made by Ms. Fermin under the guise of entertainment news without any effort from her to confirm the same from Mr. Dominic Roque,” the statement read.

The “innuendos” in question were said allude Dominic’s alleged “relationship” with a certain politician who was allegedly the “owner of the condominium unit where he currently resides”.

The actor cried foul over the messaging of the innuendos which he stressed were “clear and unambiguous”.

“There is absolutely no truth to these malicious innuendos. Mr. Dominic Roque is a longtime friend of Mayor Bullet Jalosjos and is leasing the unit owned by Mayor Jalosjos,” Roque’s camp clarified.

It continued, “He is embarrassed and apologizes to Mayor Bullet Jalosjos and his family for being dragged into the public conversation because of the malicious defamatory public innuendos of Ms. Fermin.”

In a separate vlog, Fermin once again made a “malicious statement” alluding Dominic’s relationship with former Congressman Bong Suntay as one of his suspected “benefactors”.

“By making such a statement, Ms. Fermin made the innuendo that unreasonably casts doubt on the sexuality of former Congressman Bong Suntay,” the actor’s lawyers wrote.

They added, “Again, Mr. Roque would like to apologize to former Congressman Bong Suntay and his family for the embarrassment caused by the deplorable innuendos made by Ms. Fermin.”

His camp also cleared rumors that Dominic allegedly owned a Clean Fuel gas station, reiterating that such gas stations were company-owned.

Dominic’s camp mentioned that the actor acknowledges that his status as a celebrity entails that a segment of his life is “open to public discussion for being matters of general interests”, specifically entertainment news, but further condemned Cristy’s acts that “intentionally caused damage to the integrity and honor of the affected individuals”.

The statement also clarified that Dominic and Bea “never fought nor had a disagreement over a pre-nuptial agreement”

“Reckless statements relating to the alleged disagreement over a pre-nuptial agreement between them are, not only unverified, but merely based on speculations intended to produce a negative image on the parties concerned,” the actor’s camp wrote.
