Dominic Roque’s sibling clarifies cryptic post not about Bea Alonzo

It appears that Bea Alonzo is not the person being referred to in the controversial post of Dominic Roque’s brother.

This was confirmed by Dominic’s brother himself, Lhean Roque, on his Instagram account on Wednesday, Feb. 7.

“HELLO EVERYONE. I JUST WANT TO CLEAR UP THE STORY I POSTED RECENTLY. IT WASN’T ABOUT ATE BEA OR ANYONE CLOSE TO HER,” read Lhean’s caption.

According to Dominic’s brother, the IG story, which came with a black-and-white photo of a sheep resting atop a wolf, was actually “work-related” and expressed his surprise that people would take it out of its context.

“IT WAS WORK-RELATED. AND I DIDN’T THINK THAT IT WOULD BE TAKEN OUT OF CONTEXT,” he explained.

Lhean added, “BECAUSE I USUALLY POST RANDOM STUFF AND NO ONE BATS AN EYE.”

“I HOPE THIS EXPLAINS IT. AND THIS SHOULD BE THE LAST POST I’LL DO ABOUT THEIR ISSUE,” Dominic’s sibling concluded his clarification.

Netizens were intrigued by the cryptic post due to the ongoing controversy of Bea and Dominic’s separation which was previously confirmed by veteran host Boy Abunda.

Online users speculated that the post might be directed at Bea, interpreting it as an alleged reference to her character.

It is worth noting that the symbolism of the post is strongly associated with the idiom describing someone who appears “harmless”, like a sheep, but is, in reality, concealing a “fierce and dangerous nature”, much like a wolf in disguise.

Lhean’s post also coincided with another message shared by Bea Alonzo’s road manager, Nina Ferrer, where she posted about the meaning of a “manipulative sad boi”, a term seemingly directed towards Dominic.

The two, however, have yet to clarify or deny the news.
