Mom’s sundo diaries with daughter pinch the hearts of fellow parents, netizens

A video of a first-time mom from Cainta, Rizal recently went viral on social media after she shared her daughter’s daycare journey.

In the video, Mommy Sarah Barrantes documented the first few days of her daughter in school showing some emotional development through time.

According to her, she started taking videos so she can update her in-laws who are staying abroad.

Since Baby Fiann was born on November 23, 2021, in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, Mommy Sarah was a bit worried about her communication skills with other people.

That’s when Mommy Sarah decided to enroll Baby Fian at a daycare center at 19 months (about 1 and a half years) old.

She admitted that she was also emotional seeing her daughter always crying after school.

So maganda rin na nakita namin ‘tong daycare na ‘to kasi nag-improve ako as a nanay and nag-improve din siya as a kid,” she shared.

But she was comforted by the fact that she saw a big improvement in Fian’s emotional and social communication.

“‘Yung sinasabi nilang it takes a village to raise a child, totoo talaga kaya kailangan mo ng support ng pamilya.

While she is aware that some parents don’t like the idea of enrolling their kids in school at an early age, Mommy Sarah has a message for them.

“Naniniwala ako na, ‘Mothers know best.’ Sundin mo kung ano ‘yung tingin mong mapapabuti ‘yung anak mo. At the end of the day, kung ano ‘yung makalakihan ng anak mo, magre-reflect ‘yun sa kung ano ka as a nanay,” she stressed.

As of this writing, the video has already garnered more than eight million views on TikTok.
