Kapamilya stars Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino have both contracted COVID-19.
Entertainment journalist MJ Felipe shared the update regarding the health status of the pair, fondly known as KimPau, on his X page.

Despite their health conditions, both Kim and Paulo participated in the media conference for the ABS-CBN hit series, “Linlang.”
According to a report by Pilipino Star Ngayon, the actress who showed no visible signs of severe illness during the video conference, maintained composure without any noticeable coughing or discomfort.
Kim even candidly remarked, “Buhay pa rin po ang COVID.”
While the impact of COVID-19 on her was reportedly mild, isolation remains a necessity.
The pair is currently busy filming their upcoming adaptation of the popular K-drama, “What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim”.
