BLACKPINK’s Jennie establishes her own label ‘OA’

BLACKPINK member Jennie has founded her own label called “ODDATELIER” or “OA” for short.

The 27-year-old K-pop star proudly announced the news on her verified Instagram account of venturing into her solo journey by officially establishing her own company in November.

She wrote, “Hi this is Jennie. This year was filled with many accomplishments and I’m so thankful for all the love I’ve received.”

Jennie expressed her excitement for what’s about to come in 2024, especially with the establishment of her own company.

“I’m also excited about what’s to come as I start my solo journey in 2024 with a company that I have established called OA.”

The rapper-singer also mentioned her group, whose members recently renewed their contracts with record label YG Entertainment, hoping to receive well wishes from fans.

“Please show lots of love for my new start with OA and of course, Blackpink. Thank you,” Jennie’s message read.

According to the Instagram page of the newly-established record label, OA stands for ODD ATELIER, which is “a space that aims to create new things that attract attention in a different way from what is usual or expected.”

“It is a label founded by artist JENNIE in November 2023,” read the caption of the first three posts of OA.

Among the photos posted showed Jennie wearing a hoodie designed with OA’s logo.
