Joshua Garcia called out a Facebook post alleging his advice to Daniel Padilla and his controversial breakup with Kathryn Bernardo.
According to the post, Joshua allegedly betrayed Daniel by making a statement and exposing his rumored relationship with Kapamilya actress Andrea Brillantes.
It can be recalled that many netizens speculated about Andrea’s alleged involvement in the split between Daniel and Kathryn after some colleagues and close friends of the actress unfollowed the Senior High star on Instagram.
The post claims that Joshua is on Kathryn’s side, knowing that Daniel was allegedly the one at fault. The Unbreak My Heart star supposedly advised Daniel several times to own up to his mistakes regarding his alleged infidelity.
More than 90,000 netizens have reacted to the Facebook post and exceeded 13,000 shares.
The post began, “JOSHUA INILAGLAG SI DANIEL PADILLA”
“Joshua Garcia alam pala lahat ng kalokohan ni Daniel Padilla”, si Joshua ang pinalit ni Daniel kay Dominic,” it read.
It continued, “Sorry bro Dj, but this time I’ll go for Kath. Matagal na kitang sinabihan na ayusin mo yung ginagawa mo at yung relasyon niyo ni Kath, pero hindi ka nakinig at tinuloy mo yung mga kalokohang ginagawa niyo ni Andrea. Akala ko makikinig ka pero lumalabas lang ata sa tenga mo yung mga sinasabi ko sayo.”
The Facebook post also claimed that the rumors about Daniel and Andrea traveling together in Spain were real.
“Yung sa Spain with Andrea, totoo yun. Sorry bro pero hindi kita pagtatakpan,” read the claim.
While the post linked the source of the statement to PEP.ph to make it appear legitimate, the media outlet did not claim to report such information.
This news reached Joshua when a netizen tagged him on X with a screenshot of the said post.
“@iamjoshuagarcia Oh andami nauto. Mga tao nga nama. Hindi talaga maiwasan na madami parin ang mga uto uto! Mga madali paikutin ng fake news how sad haha,” the X user penned to the actor.
Joshua immediately reposted the news with a short caption in all caps, “FAKE NEWS!”

Joshua is known to be a close friend of Daniel and Kathryn.
