South Korean talent label BIGHIT MUSIC had announced that four members of its K-pop supergroup BTS, RM, Jimin, V, And Jungkook, have initiated their military enlistment process.

BIGHIT made the announcement on BTS’ exclusive chatting platform, WeVerse on Wednesday, November 22.

“The artists are preparing to fulfill their military service duties. We will inform you of further updates in due course,” read the agency’s statement.

It continued, “We ask you for your continued love and support for RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook until they complete their military service and safely return. Our company will spare no effort in providing support for our artists.”

All seven members of BTS have previously renewed their contracts with BIGHIT and are set to reconvene as a group in 2025.

After the news of their mandatory military enlistment was released, BTS fans, fondly known as ARMYs, expressed their support for the K-pop stars on social media, making “WE WILL WAIT FOR YOU IN 2025”, and “ALL 4” join the top trending topics on X.

Back in September, BIGHIT formally declared that Suga would be the third BTS member to undergo enlistment, following his fellow bandmates Jin and J-Hope.

Meanwhile, ARMYs may treat themselves to their favorite K-pop group’s new docuseries titled “BTS Monuments: Beyond The Star” which is set to premiere on Disney+ on December 20.
