Beauty queen turned councilor Leren Mae Bautista told Ricci Rivero as she spoke up for the first time since the basketball player went public with their relationship.
Leren seemed to take aim at the criticisms of her romance with Ricci on her recent Instagram story.
The couple attended “Mr. Pure Energy” Gary Valenciano’s solo show at the Music Museum on Friday to mark the singer’s 40th year in the entertainment industry.
Posting a clip of Gary V’s “How did you know” performance, Leren wrote: “You came at the right time in my life. God knows the truth. We don’t have to defend ourselves anymore”.
“Ang mahalaga alam natin ang totoo,” Leren added in the clip that also showed Ricci smiling at her in the end.
Ricci recently cleared that there was no overlapping in his relationships with ex-girlfriend Andrea Brillantes and Leren.
He also defended Leren from the third party allegations, reiterating that he and Andrea had a rocky relationship leading to their breakup.
