South Korean actor Lee Seung Gi’s wife Lee Da In is pregnant with their first child together.
Both Seung Gi and Da In’s agencies announced the baby news in an official statement released on Wednesday, November 1.
“We would like to share the news of a precious life that came to Lee Seung Gi’s family,” Seung Gi’s own agency, Human Made stated as translated by Korean media outlet Soompi.
It added, “Lee Seung Gi is currently cautiously yet gratefully waiting for a new life to be born next year. We hope you will send warm blessings and support to Lee Seung Gi.”
Da In’s agency, 9ato Entertainment, also relayed the happy news, noting that the soon-to-be parents are expected to welcome their baby in February 2024.
“We ask for everyone to look upon the blessing that has come to actress Lee Da In with warmth and love, and we will continue to greet you with happy news,” said 9ato.
Da In and Seung first went public with their relationship in May 2021.
The two officially tied the knot at wedding ceremony last April 7.
