P-pop royalty SB19 is “making history” as they grace the first-ever cover of Billboard Philippines’ debut issue.
The music media brand unveiled the artists for the cover feature of their first-ever issue on their social media pages on Wednesday, Oct. 11.

“The Kings of P-pop, @SB19Official are Billboard Philippines’ debut cover stars. Let’s make history,” Billboard Philippines wrote in the caption.
The debut issue is available for reservation on the e-commerce platform Sari Sari Shopping and will be released on Oct. 15, 2023.
On Sari Sari Shopping’s website, Billboard Philippines emphasized its dedication to celebrating “the strength of Filipino pop music” and described its decision to choose the “Kings of Pop” as their pioneer artists for the cover of their inaugural issue.
“In its debut issue, Billboard Philippines is dedicated to celebrating the strength of Filipino pop music,” the magazine’s description read.
It continued, “Through a blend of nostalgia and forward-looking vision, we spotlight the Kings of P-pop, SB19. From trailblazing icons to industry innovators, our stories honor the journey of Filipino pop music and its limitless potential. “
Based in the U.S. as an American music and entertainment magazine, Billboard is making a return to the Philippines with its publication which will be managed by Modern Media Group Inc. (MMGI), a subsidiary of AGC Power Holdings Corp, according to a previous report by Bandwagon Asia.
