A photo of toy collector and YouTuber Yexel Sebastian with Sen. Raffy Tulfo has resurfaced amid allegations of his involvement in a P200 million investment scam.
The said photo posted by Yexel back in February 2020 showed him smiling for the camera with the broadcaster and politician.
“Kung ikaw tatanungin [,] ano ang gusto mo isumbong kay Idol Raffy?,” read Yexel’s caption.
The photo got unearthed while Yexel is facing the multi-million investment scam allegations which were given attention after investors approached Tulfo’s public service program Raffy Tulfo in Action.
A report by Interaksyon said the Bureau of Immigration (BI) confirmed the Yex by el and his wife Mikee San Agustin departed for Nagoya City in Japan last Monday, Oct. 9.
The BI said the couple were able to leave the country as there were no charges filed against them.
Meanwhile, Yexel took to Facebook on Tuesday to defend themselves from the allegations saying that all operations under the investment company under complaint are legitimate.
Several complainants, however, took to social media to contradict Yexel’s statement and accused the couple of being evasive, and unresponsive to their calls related to the investment arrangement.
