Stand-up comedian and YouTuber Ton Soriano’s three-year old viral cover of Someone Like You just got noticed by the British music star herself!
The said video of Ton continues to draw laughter since its upload in 2020, showed him soulfully singing a rendition of the British singer-songwriter’s song with his eyes closed.
Not until his voice cracked while belting the chorus when his roommate, comedian MC Calaquian, entered the room, giving each other a fright.
“So sino ba talaga ang nagulat? P.S. di po masakit yung hampas,” Ton wrote as caption, while referring to the hit he received from MC out of shock.
The viral clip, which has been reposted on social media many times, remains Ton’s most liked video up to date, with more than 5.7 million views.
A Tiktok user recently re-uploaded Ton’s video and finally earned a thumbs up from Adele.
“So good,” wrote the “Easy On Me” singer as the caption.
