Arshie Larga reminds creators: ‘Use clout wisely and responsibly’

TikTok Philippines’ Creator of the Year awardee Arshie Larga called on fellow content creators to make good use of their platform.

The 27-year-old pharmacist from Marinduque took home the top award with an important reminder to fellow TikTokers during his acceptance speech.

“Lahat naman tayo nage-excel sa kanya-kanyang mga niche, so ‘yung award na ‘to ay para sa ating lahat,” Arshie addressed his fellow creators.

“Let’s always use our platforms wisely and responsibly, and ‘yung clout natin gamitin sa tamang paraan—not just to entertain but to inspire,” he remarked.

Arshie, who goes by his handle @arshietomycin on TikTok, also expressed gratitude to those who have been sending donations so he could give out medicines for free to those who can’t afford to buy one.

Arshie is known for his educational and entertaining videos that focus on medicine and healthcare information which he started doing at the height of the pandemic.

“Ang award na ito ay hindi lamang para sa’kin, kundi para din ito sa ating mga donors na pinagkakatiwalaan ako ng kanilang pera. Naging daan lamang ako para ang inyong donations ay makarating sa mga taong karapat-dapat na matulungan,” said Arshie.

The TikToker pharmacist also promised to continue on creating educational, entertaining, and inspirational.

“To my fellow creators, pahalagahan natin ang community na ating na-build. Huwag tayong papasilaw sa pera. Ang pera ay kikitain pa natin PERO ang tiwala ng mga tao sa atin ay mahirap makuha o maibalik sa oras na ito’y ating sinira. LET’S BE RESPONSIBLE CREATORS AND USE OUR CLOUT WISELY,” he stressed in a social media post.
