E.A.T. audience member dances to trending Mini Miss U during live episode

Hello madlang dabarkads mabuhay!

An audience member of TV5’s noontime show E.A.T. was spotted dancing to the trending Mini Miss U challenge, a song born on a segment of rival program It’s Showtime.

Tiktok user @reveljunguinanas uploaded a now-viral clip from a Thursday episode of the Kapatid noontime show. Mainstays Vic Sotto and Joey de Leon could be seen interacting with contestants which made it look like a typical snippet of a segment.

However, upon a closer look with the help of the uploader’s focused edit, the video zoomed in on a child in the background. The young boy seemed to have noticed that the camera was in his direction and started dancing to the steps of It’s Showtime’s trending song.

“Nag mini miss U Yung batang audience sa E.A.T. naligaw ata Tung Bata nato,” the user wrote on the video’s caption.

It can be observed that the child even tried not to mouth the words “madlang people” probably in respect to the show he was currently watching live.

Mini Ms. U was sung by six-year-old Imogen Cantong for ABS-CBN’s noontime program It’s Showtime’s beauty pageant and talent show for young girls with the same title.

The song has stuck with many Pinoy netizens with its earworm factor amplified by the charming kiddie contestants of Mini Miss U and easy dance steps that have since become a trending dance challenge on TikTok.

Its impact has already reached even the Hallyu world with some K-pop stars including EXO’s Xiumin, Aespa’s Karina, and ENHYPEN’s Sunoo joining the local trend.
