Celebrity nail artist Mimi Qiu shares how she scored a pic with Park Bogum 

Celebrity nail artist Mimi Qiu Reyes said she got speechless and became too shy to ask for a photo with South Korean star Park Bogum, but it was her husband’s sweet gesture that made her fangirl moment happen. 

The beauty guru recently had K-drama fans going “sana all” after she shared her unexpected encounter with Bogum who’s known for his roles in Love in the Moonlight, Record of Youth, Reply and Encounter, among others. 

“Just had the best surprise ever! Ran into my OG bias, @bogummy while we [were] having dinner last night [.] I was so starstruck that I could barely speak,” Mimi wrote as caption on her photo with Bogum and his 

“He was even more charming, kind and handsome in person and even took time to do a fan sign,” Mimi described the actor. 

“This is definitely a moment I will never forget. Thank you Bogummy my 1988 fangirl heart is sooooo happy,” she added alongside heart and crying emojis. 

On her Instagram stories,  Mimi detailed how she was able to score the photo with Bogum, who happened to be dining next to them at an Italian restaurant in South Korea. Mimi was in the country for BTS’ Suga’s concert.

“Sa sobrang kilig n kaba ko, I can’t even look at their side, imagine no 30 mins kaharap ko OG CRUSH ko, LORD!!! Until my husband [talked] to Bogummy,” Mimi shared gushing over Bogum and her husband, all the same.

“Charlie is the sweetest,” she added.

Mimi shared a photo of the message her husband Charlie composed and showed to  Bogum to request for a photo op with the actor. The message was translated from English to Korean. 

“Hi sir, sorry to interrupt your dinner, my wife is a super fan of yours. Can she have a photo taken with you? It will mean the world to her. Thank you,” read the message shown on Charlie’s tablet.

“Napaka-sweet talaga ni Charlie. Lalo ako naiiyak,” expressed Mimi. 

Mimi and her husband were joined by her mom and digital creator Andie J who also took to Instagram to share a snap with Bogum.
