PH ONCEs experience snags during ticket pre-selling for TWICE’s Ready To Be concert in Manila

On Thursday night, June 15, SM Tickets temporarily suspended the pre-selling of tickets for #TWICE’s Ready To Be one-night show in Manila due to “suspicious activities detected online”.

Fans were advised to stand by for the announcement when the pre-selling would resume. The post garnered thousands of sad and angry reactions.

Event organizer Live Nation Philippines has yet to release a statement on the issue but had reposted SM’s post on their official pages.

Meanwhile, fans are speculating that the cause of the “errors” might be due to a ‘dubious link’ that had a domain extension, “cheese kimbap”, which redirected buyers to SM Tickets’ official selling page.

Some fans raised eyebrows at the seemingly out-of-place extension name but most understood it as a reference to TWICE member Sana’s iconic “aegyo” moment in the Korean variety show, Knowing Bros.

Techy ONCEs are also investigating the link going as far as using developer tools to test its legitimacy.

Some are claiming that they are experiencing difficulties in claiming their physical tickets despite securing them, while others said that their tickets have disappeared from the SM Tickets website.

Fans are demanding more clarity on the issue as an approximate number of more than 100,000 people have queued earlier to secure their spots for Twice’s one-night show.

The general selling of tickets is scheduled Friday, June 16, and will run from 12 noon onwards.
