Andrea Brillantes delivers hugot lines amid split with Ricci Rivero

Andrea Brillantes received comfort and love from the It’s Showtime family following her reported breakup with basketball player Ricci Rivero. The actress also can’t seem to stop dropping hugot lines during the show.

The actress guested on the June 12 episode of the  Kapamilya noontime show to promote her upcoming drag-inspired iWantTFC digital series “Drag You & Me”.

“I know! Happy Independence Day to me and to all of us!”, Andrea said as she was greeted by Vice Ganda on the national holiday.

“‘Di ba? Malaya na tayo sa mga nega, malaya na tayo sa mga sakit,” stated Vice Ganda.

During the show’s “Rampanalo” segment, Vice Ganda asked: “Suwerte ba si Andrea? Andrea lately may swerte ka ba?”

“Mayroon siyempre,” Andrea said in response.

“Hangga’t nakangiti ka at kaya mong ngumiti ibig sabihin sinuswerte ka pa,” quipped Vice Ganda.

“Suwerte ako hangga’t kaya ko pa magmahal, lalo na’t kaya kong mahalin ang sarili ko, suwerte ako,” Andrea remarked, prompting the It’s Showtime hosts to give her a group hug.

Vice Ganda also asked the actress in jest: “Kung ikaw ang magpapasa ng bola, kanino mo ipapasa ang bola?”

“Bola, what’s that?, ayoko na po.”

While her split with Ricci wasn’t openly mentioned, netizens and viewers speculate that the actress was taking a swipe at her failed relationship with the basketball star.

“Pati dito, papalitan ako,” said Andrea at another part of the segment.

Vice Ganda then gave the young star some reminder and reassuring words.

“Andrea, anuman ang nangyari at anuman ang mangyayari huwag mong isipin na ipinagpalit

ka. Hindi ka pwedeng ipagpalit dahil nag-iisa ka lang,” said Vice Ganda.

“Wala kang kapalit dahil wala kang kapantay. Ikaw ay brilyante. Lagi mong tatandaan ikaw ay brilyante at patuloy kang kikinang habangbuhay, hindi ba?”, he added.

Andrea has yet to speak up on her breakup with Ricci who has earlier released a statement about moving on peacefully, asking the public to “respect our decision to keep it to ourselves so that we can preserve what’s left of our friendship”.
