Jake Cuenca has spoken up on the status of his relationship with actress Chie Filomeno.
The two, who recently attended Star Magic’s Hot Summer: LaHot Sexy event, have sparked romance rumors in the past few months.
“I’m admiring her. I guess I can say that,” Jake admitted in a video shared by ABS-CBN on Instagram.
“She knew that I admire her. Yeah, before anything, we’ve known each other for a while and we’re enjoying each other’s company,” the Iron Heart star was quoted as saying.
Jake and Chie were also paired together at the Metro Body pictorial which the former felt fortunate to share with the actress.
“Napaka-swerte kong lalaki, nakasama ko sya dun,” said Jake.
The hunk actor courted dating speculations with Chie after eagle-eyed netizens noticed him frequently commenting on the actress’ Instagram posts.
Jake was last in a relationship with beauty queen turned actress Kylie Verzosa. They dated for three years before calling it quits in April 2022.
Chie, on the other hand, was previously linked to Kyle Echarri.
