Former husband and wife Aljur Abrenica and Kylie Padilla got “reunited” at the Summer Metro Manila Film Festival’s Parade of the Stars.
Aljur and Kylie who are starring in the SMMFF entries Single Bells, Kahit Maputi Na Ang Buhok Ko: The Music of Rey Valera, and Unravel: A Swiss Side Love Story, respectively had a brief interaction at the parade held on Sunday at the Villa Beatriz, Commonwealth Avenue, Quezon City.
In a video shared by a netizen on TikTok, Aljur can be seen guiding Kylie and Unravel leading man Gerald Anderson going up the stage for a group photo with other MFFF stars.
The ex-lovers also nodded their heads at each other when Kylie approached Aljur’s Single Bells co-stars Angeline Quinto and Alex Gonzaga in a video posted by Pep.
Aljur is currently in a relationship with AJ Raval while Kylie is rumored to be dating tattoo artist Jinno John Simon.

Kylie and Aljur tied the knot in 2018 but went their separate ways in 2021. They are co-parenting their sons Alas and Axl.
With the theme “Tuloy ang Saya”, the first-ever Summer MMFFwill run from April 8 to 18, with all of the eight official entries to be shown in theaters nationwide.
The eight official entries to the Summer MMFF are as follow:
“Apag” by Center Stage Production; “Singlebells” by TINCAN; “About Us But Not About Us” by The Ideafirst Company; “Kahit Maputi Na Ang Buhok Ko” by Saranggola Media Productions; “Unravel: A Swiss Side Love Story” by MAVX Productions; “Here Comes The Groom” by Quantum Films; “Yung Libro Sa Napanuod Ko” by Viva Communications, and; “Love You Long Time” by Studio Three Sixty.
Awards will be presented during the Gabi ng Parangal to be held at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City on Aprill 11.
