Ogie Diaz disputes anew Liza Soberano’s claims

Ogie Diaz has opposed his former talent Liza Soberano’s recent claims about his work as her manager.

Liza earlier stated in an interview on Fast Talk With Boy Abunda that her Tita Jonie, who served as her road manager and personal assistant, thought of cutting down Ogie’s commission from 30 percent to 20 percent as he would not be around during her shoots.

“He (Ogie) would book the job for me. He was negotiating. So she (Tita Jonie) felt it was fair for him to lessen his commission, but then, they ultimately agreed na pareho na lang sila,” she added.

Ogie, however, disproved Liza’s statements against him in his showbiz-oriented Youtube channel on Wednesday.

“When you say ‘hindi ka pumupunta’, never kang pumunta. Bilang manager po, alam ng mga staff at alam niya mismo na pumupunta ako sa set pero hindi naman madalas,” said Ogie, proceeding to enumerate the times he would visit Liza on set.

Yung dito nagshoshoot dito sa Quezon City lagi akong nandito (Make It With You).

Ogie added that whenever he’s not around, he would assign a road manager to be in charge of Liza.

He would also go visit the set just to make sure if Liza is doing well and personally address issues they would encounter on set.

“Ang importante, present po ako sa lahat ng dealings, present ako sa lahat ng negotiation kasi at the end of the day, kapag naibenta ko nang mataas ‘yung alaga ko, ‘bongga ka na! O ayan, TF mo, mataas!’”

Liza earlier expressed her dismay to Ogie seemingly “trying to fight me or ruin me” after he spoke up on her “rebranding” vlog.
