Amid dating speculations, Carlo Aquino admitted that he’s indeed going out with Charlie Dizon.
The actor made the revelation during a media conference for Star Magic’s partnership with Mavx Productions.
“Nagkasama kami sa A Soldier’s Heart. Nagkakilala kami do’n. Tapos nag-US tour, mas nakilala ko siya. Pag-uwi, ayun (tuloy-tuloy na),” Carlo was quoted saying in an interview with ABS-CBN’s MJ Felipe.
Carlo and Charlie got caught up in dating rumors last December after netizens noticed them getting at a get-together with the actress’ friends.
The two were also recently spotted at La Union as seen in photos posted by a restaurant on Facebook.
Carlo also related in the same interview that he and Charlie welcomed the New Year with Charlie and the actor’s family in La Union.
The two are set to star in the Blacksheep film Love on a Budget, which is slated to premiere this year.
Carlo further shared in a separate interview that he and Charlie are on the getting to know stage and asked the public to respect their relationship.
“Ako, kinikilala ko si Charlie. Kung gusto niyong malaman, very positive ang pagpasok niya sa buhay ko,” he said.
“Importante sa akin ‘to. Nirerespeto ko ‘yon. Irespeto din nila sana,” he added.
