Dimples Romana has nothing but gratitude on her 25th year as an actress.
The Kapamilya star took to social media to share how the “unpopular path” she took eventually led to her golden years.
“I took the path of a character actress and did support for most my years before the golden years I didn’t even expect to come, came.
“I was happy and content doing support for many of my friends, characters that tagged me as bestfriend ng bayan, mommy of the upcoming stars, sister, cousin and friend that will deliver key lines in films and tv shows,” she said.
Dimples shared that veteran actress Vilma Santos has taught her to love the job and that it would certainly love her back.
She added: “These 25 years were not only of glitz & glamour, of smiles & shiny things. These 25 years also meant heartbreaks, roadblocks, standing by the sidelines watching your colleagues shine brighter than you, watching them live their dreams while you patiently wait for your turn to shine.”
The 38-year-old then encouraged her fans to never stop dreaming and working hard despite how challenging those times will be.
“We are all stars. Lend your light to those who need it most, who need it first,” she siad.
Nearly a week ago, Dimples announced that after her stint as a juror in the International Emmys, she is now an official member of the International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
