BigHit Music responds to BTS member Jin’s reported ‘enlistment date’

BigHit Music was quick to respond to emerging reports on BTS member Jin’s supposed military enlistment date next month.

On Thursday, several reports from Korean news outlets stated that the K-pop supergroup member will be enlisting for his military service on December 13.

However, a report from Korean media outlet allkpop said BTS’ music label cannot confirm Jin’s enlistment date as of the moment.

“We cannot confirm these details at this time. We ask for your understanding,” BigHit Music stated.

It was back in October when the group’s music label Big Hit Music made the announcement that the members, Jin, RM, J-Hope, Suga, V, and Jimin, will fulfill their military service, promising their fans that they will return to the spotlight in 2025.

“BIGHIT MUSIC is proud to announce today that the members of BTS are currently moving forward with plans to fulfill their military service. After the phenomenal concert to support Busan’s bid for the World Expo 2030, and as each individual embarks on solo endeavors, it’s the perfect time and the member of BTS are honored to serve,” the statement read.

Shortly after the announcement fans took to social media to express their full support for the group.
