Sharon Cuneta raised talks of her retirement once again when she took to social media to open up on how she’s “undeniably exhausted” at 56 years old.
The veteran singer-actress shared a passage from a book which spoke about sensing the desire to catch her breath and look closely at life.
“This part really resonated with me because, well, I am 56 now – and I am just undeniably EXHAUSTED. Retirement is calling.
“Once in a while I can pop up in a movie or a series if it’s not too tiring. But I AM tired… All I wish I could do is be with my family and take care of them,” she said.
Cuneta added that she would also want to “do all those other things I always wish I could do but just couldn’t find the time for.”
It was in 2020 when the Megastar first spoke about her showbiz retirement, expressing that the time is coming for her.
