But P-POP is not just for groups, we also have P-POP Solo artists to watch out for – like Geca Morales.
Geca Morales is a singer-songwriter who has numerous awards under her belt. She represented the Philippines in the first and only talent Olympics in the World – The World Championships of Performing Arts held in Long Beach California USA in the year 2016. She won a Gold Medal for the Female Vocal Rap Category and Silver Medal for the Female Vocal Rock Category. She is also more popularly known as a Golden Ticket holder at the first season of Idol Philippines 2018.
This year, she is nominated as the POP NEW FEMALE ARTIST OF THE YEAR at the 7th PPOP AWARDS alongside with Belle Mariano, Sanya Lopez and Anji Salvacion. Her latest single “Yan Kasi! ” and her recent album release made her land a spot in the said awards. Final results will be announced on November 20, 2022 at Okada Manila.
