Viral video shows kid saying goodbye to woman who raised him like her own son

A nine-year-old kid who stayed and cleaned the coffin of the woman who raised him like her own son recently went viral on social media.

Daughter Rain Deocares Gabe witnessed the heartwarming moment between RicRic and her deceased mother on October 4, 2022.

Rain said that since RicRic was staying with her grandmother, her mom decided to take care of him.

Rain said that she was touched upon seeing RicRic’s small act of kindness to her mom even on her final days.

Rain’s mom was diagnosed with cancer in January. Their family later decided to transfer her to Bukidnon.

Sobrang nasaktan talaga siya,” she recalled.

Netizens were also touched by the sweet moment. As of writing, the uploaded video on social media has already garnered more than five million views on TikTok.

“Naiyak ako. Sana gawin niyo parin ‘yung ginagawa ng mama niyo sa kanya,” a netizen commented.

“Marunong siyang tumanaw ng utang na loob. Mabait na bata,” another netizen said.

Rain said that she would continue to help RicRic even after her mom died.
