‘Bravo!’: Billy Crawford gets standing ovation in France’s Dancing with the Stars

Billy Crawford made an impressive start with his first performance in the dance reality show Danse avec les stars (DALS), France’s version of Dancing with the Stars.

The singer-host’s wife Coleen Garcia took to Instagram on Friday to share a clip from the pilot episode of the show’s 12th season where Billy danced the cha-cha to Harry Styles’ Watermelon Sugar with dance partner Fauve Hautot, a French dancer and winner of previous DALS season.

Billy appeared to be shocked after he and Fauve received immunity buzzes from all four judges, making their tandem automatically qualified.

The Filipino-American actor-performer also received standing ovations from the judges and the audience.

Coleen, meanwhile, could not help but gush over her husband’s proud moment.

“So proud! Congratulations @billycrawford & @fauvehautot! You guys were amazing!,” wrote Coleen.

“Awwwwww thanks my love,” replied Billy with heart emojis.

Fellow celebrities also took to the comments section to send their words of congratulations and support for Billy.

Billy first announced his participation in the said show in July.
