After six years together, volleyball star Alyssa Valdez and PBA player Kiefer Ravena are confirmed to have broken up.
Alyssa’s talent agency VMG Asia on Thursday, released a statement debunking rumors that a third party caused the split of the couple.
“Let us avoid making up stories and spreading false rumors. We hope that everyone can respect Alyssa’s decision to keep things private.
“Thank you to all the fans who have loved and supported Alyssa through the years, We know you will continue to be there for her,” said the management.
VMG Asia added that this will be the only time they will be addressing the matter.
Alyssa, meanwhile, retweeted the statement, echoing her management’s request to avoid making up stories and spreading false rumors.
“Thank you for all the love,” she added.
The Ateneo athlete couple first revealed the real score between them in an interview on Tonight With Boy Abunda in 2016.
