This father from Marikina City loves solving logic puzzles.
One day, his daughter Sophia Divinagracia asked him to answer a puzzle without knowing that he would receive a “prize” upon solving it.
“Actually on the spot ko lang po naisip mag pasagot muna ng logic puzzle kasi gusto ko po siya I-joke muna na pag hindi niya nasagot hindi pa po namin ibibigay but ang nangyari po nasermonan ako kasi mali po pala ‘yung question na naibigay ko and wala rin po pala siyang idea na gift pala yung sinasagutan niya kaya sobrang priceless po nung reaction niya,” Sophia recalled.
After solving the puzzle, Daddy Edwynpol couldn’t believe that his family gave him an electric jigsaw!
Apparently, Daddy Edwynpol is into DIY Furnitures. “Kaya po ‘yun ‘yung gift namin sa kaniya kasi ‘yun na lang po ‘yung kulang niya since mahilig nga po siyang gumawa ng mga DIY na napapanood niya sa youtube kaya grabe na lang po ‘yung reaction niya.”
Sophia said that the electric jigsaw was their gift for him, who celebrated his 61st birthday last April 18.
Sophia added that they planned the unique surprise for their handyman father to bring joy and happiness on his special day.
“Wala po siyang idea kasi nung binaba ko po ‘yung gift may ginagawa po siya that time tapos pinatong ko agad po sa table then nung lumapit po siya inabutan ko agad ng pentel tapos sinabihan ko po na sagutan niya ‘yung logic puzzle eh medjo nainvest din po talaga siya dun sa question,” she shared.
“Nagulat po siya and natuwa talaga kasi gustong-gusto niya talaga magkaron ng electric jigsaw. Then nung weekend po, triny niya ‘yung gift po namin. Gumawa po siya ng shelves niya sa garage po namin para sa mga gamit niya,” she added.
The video uploaded on social media has already garnered more than 400,000 views. Netizens were amazed by the genuine reaction of the father.
