This woman from Angono, Rizal showed a glimpsed of her life growing up with a baby brother.
Jheinina Ortega said her six-year-old brother, Jheiden, is currently staying with their parents in Ormoc City, Leyte. They were originally residing in Rizal, but her family needed to stay in Leyte last August due to her father’s new work assignment.
Meanwhile, Jheinina had to stay at home to continue her studies and manage her online business. She noted that since then, Jheiden is a sweet and clingy brother to her.
“Actually, everyday po talaga siya tumatawag sa akin since dun sila nag stay. Kapag po di ko nasasagot tawag niya, nag vo-voice message lang po kami kasi di pa po siya marunong magbasa. He’s always sweet and in touch with me kahit malayo po kami sa isa’t isa. There are times na umiiyak po siya kasi sabi niya namimiss niya po ako. Di po kami sanay ng malayo sa isa’t isa,” she shared.
Jheinina said that Jheiden uses their parent’s mobile phone to message her once in a while. She described Jheiden as smart, sweet and understanding bunso.
Jheinina noted that this was not the first time that her little brother was expressive and clingy to her.
“Ang matured niya po magsalita for his age. Sometimes makulit, pero madalas po talagang clingy. Kaya po habang maliit pa sIya, Sinusulit na po namin ‘yung mga times na malambing siya samin. At his age, lagi niya po ako kinakamusta and lagi po talaga siya tumatawag para balitaan ako kung kamusta sila dun,” she said.
“Clingy po siya samin lahat. 15 years old po ako nung pinanganak siya and nasanay na po talaga ako na alagaan siya ever since. He’s always sweet and in touch with me kahit malayo po kami sa isa’t isa. There are times na umiiyak po siya kasi sabi nya namimiss nya po ako. Di po kami sanay ng malayo sa isa’t isa,” she added.

Jheinina is a third year BS accountancy student. She is the eldest daughter and her other sibling has a 10-year age gap with Jheiden.
