Paulo Avelino has reunited with his son Aki, who has been living in New York with his mother, actress LJ Reyes, since late 2021.
The actor shared a few snippets of their bonding moments on his Instagram Stories last Thursday, April 7. The two were seen talking about Aki’s hair color.
The father and son also went for a walk with Aki’s friend, with the actor walking behind them as Aki talked with his friend while his arm was around her shoulders.
It was last March when Paulo said he had informed his former partner LJ about visiting his son in New York.
LJ and her two kids have been with her family in New York since September 2021, following her separation with actor Paolo Contis.
On the other hand, Paulo had asked his Marry Me, Marry You co-star Janine Gutierrez if she wanted to join him in meeting his son and added, in jest, that he would introduce her to Aki as his mother.
Paulo and Janine were in the United States together for a concert series with singer-songwriter Ogie Alcasid.
