Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin tie the knot in star-studded wedding

Crash Landing On You stars Hyun Bin, 39, and Son Ye Jin, 40, have officially tied the knot!

The South Korean showbiz power couple exchanged vows at the Aston House in the Grand Walkerhill Hotel in Seoul on Thursday afternoon.

As reported by Korean media outlet Yonhap, “only parents, relatives and friends” gathered at the wedding ceremony.

Attendees included Hyun Bin’s longtime friend and actor Jang Dong-gun who reportedly delivered a congratulatory speech for the couple.

Other news outlets revealed A-listers from the Korean entertainment world as among the wedding guests, such as Gong Yoo, Song Joong Ki, Jung Hae In, Lee Byung Hun, Gong Hyo Jin, Yoona, Ha Jin Won, among others.

Singer Gummy, meanwhile, performed a rendition of Give You My Heart, an official soundtrack from the Crash Landing On You, which was originally sung by IU.

While the affair was held under tight security and away from the public eye, footage captured by The Fact showing moments of the bride walking down the aisle made rounds online.

Hyun Bin and Ye Jin first starred together in the action thriller film 2018 film Negotiation and reunited in the hit romcom series Crash Landing On You in 2019.

A year after confirming their romance to the public in January 2021, Hyun Bin and Ye Jin announced their engagement last February 10.

Hyun Bin and Ye Jin’s respective management agencies, Vast Entertainment and MS Team Entertainment, have earlier released official wedding photos of the couple.

“Actors Son Ye Jin and Hyun Bin are holding their wedding ceremony today, taking their first step as a married couple. The ceremony will be private in consideration of the situation with COVID-19, so we ask for your generous understanding. We are sharing the news with their wedding photos instead,” the statement said.

“We express deep gratitude for the many blessings and warm support sent for their new beginning. Actors Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin along with their agencies will continue to put in full effort to give back for the love received,” it added.

Fans, meanwhile, celebrated and showered the newlyweds with congratulatory messages with the hashtag #TheBinJinWedding, which has taken the top trending spot on Twitter, as of writing.
