It seems like Ellen Adarna is never getting over the “best quarantine soundtrack” Bawal Lumabas.
On Instagram, Derek Ramsay shared clips of his wife Ellen singing Kim Chiu’s accidental hit inspired by her viral “sa classroom may batas” gaffe while playing the piano.
Derek, who posted the clips via Instagram stories, joined Ellen in singing the song’s chorus part.
“Emote version”, wrote Ellen as she shared Derek’s stories on her page.
Ellen had shown support for Kim’s viral track in 2020, with her own acoustic version of the song which she dubbed as the “best quarantine soundtrack”.
“Dai, this brings so much positivity and laughter in my household. The best quarantine soundtrack,” Ellen told her fellow Cebuana.
To recall, Kim got criticized for causing confusion with her classroom analogy while expressing support for her home network ABS-CBN following the shutdown of its broadcast operations.
Despite the backlash, Kim decided to move forward and “make things negative into positive”.
From the viral remix, Kim released a full version and music video of the “classroom song”, and even starred in a mini-series with the song’s title Bawal Lumabas.
