Ai-Ai delas Alas belies video saying she’s ‘Kakampink’

Ai-Ai delas Alas has taken to social media to strongly deny that she’s a supporter of Vice President Leni Robredo.

The actress-comedienne has taken to her Instagram account to debunk a YouTube video that insinuated that she wore pink, Robredo’s campaign color, to support the presidential bet.

Ai-Ai labeled the thumbnail of the video which showed a photo of her alongside local celebrities Sharon Cuneta, Anne Curtis and Pokwang wearing pink as “fake news”.

“Utang na loob NANAHIMIK AKO wag nyo akong masali sali sa mga ganito .. tahimik buhay ko .. lahat na lang,” Ai-ai wrote in the caption.

Ai-Ai furthered that the photo used in the thumbnail dated back to her role as Ina Montecillo in the comedy film Ang Tanging Ina Niyong Lahat in 2008.

“Huy !!!! tanging ina ko pa picture yan tanging ina ka kung sino ka man na gumagawa ng mga ganitong ka cheapan … Pls. hindi po ako vp LENI supporter,” said Ai-Ai.

The Kapuso star, meanwhile, seemed to have hinted at her preferred presidential candidate using the hashtags “#iwantpeace #iwantunity” to end her Instagram post.
