Willie Revillame, more popularly known to viewers as Kuya Wil, has not renewed his contract with the GMA Network. His Wowowin show will air its last episode on Feb. 11.
On Saturday, February 5, the Kapuso network released a statement announcing that the TV host’s contract is expiring next week.
The TV host’s weekly variety show Wowowin will also air its last episode next Friday.
“Willie Revillame’s contract with GMA Network is set to end on the 15th of this month. His show Wowowin will air until Friday, February 11,” read GMA Network’s statement.
“We wish him good luck in his future endeavors,” it added.
After his departure from ABS-CBN, Willie returned and signed a contract with GMA network for a blocktime slot for Wowowin in 2015.
Meanwhile, netizens are now having speculations if Willie is transferring to another network.
